Finished watching Jericho. This was a nice post-graduate school treat as I enjoyed the first episodes I watched when it first came out and then couldn't continue watching because of my busy schedule - internship at the hospital, school most nights, and you have to do at least some homework sometimes. At first thought that the alternate unaired ending might be a bit more complete if they didn't know the show would be canceled again so I watched that version first. Then to compare I watched the aired version which it turns out was actually more closed off. Of course both leave room for many adventures in the future. Pleasantly both were really good but I actually liked the aired version better. I love Jake's response to Hawkins statement that the mission is the only thing that matters. No it isn't, Jake says and it defines the message that the whole show is about, espechially the second season. What really matters is being there and protecting your friends, regardless of whether you look at friendship in the broad sense of your neighbors and community, or the more intimate friendships with whom you share your life.

I hoped he would grow more through out the series, but he did get hotter looking so that was a plus. Have you joined the Capturing Skeet forum and checked out the gallery of 15,000+ photos of Skeet? It's at www.capturingskeet.com and there are 100+ members already. Lots of Jericho fans and other Skeet Ulrich fans there. Great group of people. Come join the fun! Touching on the theme of sharing your life, protecting your family, showing that you love them, I found a site where you share your life called Senterna (www.senterna.com) If you're ever going to be cut off from life, friends and family, you can record content for them there and release it to them when you are gone. Be assured that, should an asteroid hit you tomorrow, your loved ones would have a lasting legacy of your life and future-proof content to remember you by. |
